Our dark Fairytale card for Wednesday is the 9 of Swords.
The attacks that from without are never as cruel as the ones from within the mind. Self-inflicted wounds cause the most pain.
Although others cause us pain, when we look at what has happened deep down we know that by letting their thoughts, words or actions get to us, we are allowing them to win, to control how we feel.
The thought can be placed within our minds that we dwell on the words that are said.
We have to learn to tale from those words and change things around. There is no use in moping about, it solves nothing, neither does inflicting damage to ourselves by thinking harmful thoughts. Change the way you look at yourself and the way you think.
We all have our inner demons, and our fears, but we have to learn to conquer those thoughts and feelings and get on with things. There's no use lying around.
If there is that 1 person who still affects you, be the bigger person and if possible learn to cut ties with them. Their mind games will not work once you cut the bonds. You are your own person, be that person. Own yourself.
