For Friday, our Fairytale card is the Queen of Pentacles.
She demands all that money can buy, and values people by their price.
Whereas there are those who would see things as having sentimental value, or appreciating people for who they are, sometimes this queen tends to take things for granted.
The suit of pentacles is about the material world of wealth and work.
We need to stop taking things for granted and work for what we want. The time to stop sitting down and get on with things is here. Once we've put the blood, sweat and tears in, then we can sit down and relax. We can then learn to accept and appreciate the things that surround us.
The queen of pentacles is grounded in her thinking, not letting herself drift away with the faeries. Sometimes though, even though it is good to be traditional, down to earth and steadfast in our belief system, we need to change or approach to life and our way of thinking.
